Baseball Recap: Baldwyn Comes Up Short

Baldwyn and Myrtle squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Baldwyn had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Hawks. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Baldwyn's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-10-1. As for Myrtle, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Baldwyn nor Myrtle have any future games scheduled.
