Softball Game Preview: Kinkaid Falcons vs. Heights Bulldogs

The Kinkaid Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Heights Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Kinkaid will be strutting in after a victory while Heights will be coming in after a defeat.

Kinkaid will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Cypress Christian, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Kinkaid came out on top against Cypress Christian by a score of 6-1 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Houston Christian.

Heights got a good showing from Jessica Borrego, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit over four innings pitched.

Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kinkaid, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Kinkaid might still be hurting after the 13-3 loss they got from Heights when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Kinkaid avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
