Basketball Game Preview: Stryker Panthers vs. Pettisville Blackbirds

Stryker is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Thursday. They will host the Pettisville Blackbirds at 7:15 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Pettisville is headed out to face a Panthers squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Stryker fell 55-46 to Miller City on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Meanwhile, Pettisville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Delta by a score of 52-41 on Friday. The game was the first time the Blackbirds have beaten the Panthers on their court since December 14, 2019.

Stryker lost to Pettisville at home by a decisive 40-26 margin in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
