Basketball Recap: Amity Beats Willamina for Their Eighth Straight Win

Amity had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They blew past the Willamina Bulldogs, posting a 70-36 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Amity is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Willamina, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
