Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Guardians vs. Bloomburg Wildcats
The Marshall Christian Academy Guardians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 69-41 loss at the hands of Bloomburg. If Marshall Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 46-16 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Marshall Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Melody Hester, who scored 15 points. Macy Hester was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Marshall Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Bloomburg, their victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Bloomburg, they will face off against the Owls at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Yantis comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
