Cheraw waltzed into their game on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Buford Yellow Jackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since April 12, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Will Quick, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Nick Gordon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
