West Field had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cyprus Pirates, sneaking past 4-2.

Brinklee Hadley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rylee Andreasen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

West Field pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cyprus, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

West Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cyprus, they will host Kearns at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of.
