Robbinsville is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 17-3 to Towns County.

Meanwhile, Rosman came into Monday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cherokee 8-7. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rosman's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Robbinsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Robbinsville's way against Rosman in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Robbinsville made off with a 12-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Robbinsville since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
