Soccer Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

Emerald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Las Lomas Knights, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, Emerald can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1150th, while Las Lomas are ranked 61st).

Emerald's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19-1. As for Las Lomas, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Emerald nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
