Recap: Lake Buena Vista Vipers vs. Poinciana Eagles
The Lake Buena Vista Vipers lost against the Poinciana Eagles back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lake Buena Vista's rough 37-14 defeat to Poinciana might stick with them for a while. Lake Buena Vista was down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Poinciana got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Brown out in front who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Poinciana also got help from Ernest Nunn who showed off his sure hands for 111 receiving yards.
Lake Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Poinciana, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Buena Vista will take on Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Moore will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Poinciana, they will head out on the road to face off against Mulberry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
