For the second straight game, Hoboken will face off against University Academy Charter. The Redwings will square off against the Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hoboken is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Hoboken turned things around against University Academy Charter on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over the Generals. The result was nothing new for the Redwings, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Dom Magaletta made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Evan Ojeda was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jason Dale, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Hoboken always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.
