Softball Recap: Blackfoot's Run of Six Straight Wins Now Over

It was fun while it lasted, but Blackfoot's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Wednesday. They came up short against the Twin Falls Bruins, falling 13-3. The contest marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Blackfoot saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Pratt, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Mady Olsen also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Even though they lost, Blackfoot hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in six consecutive games.

Having lost for the first time this season, Blackfoot fell to 6-1. As for Twin Falls, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-5.

Blackfoot will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thunder Ridge at 3:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Twin Falls, they will face off against Lewiston at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
