            Volleyball Recap: Alamo Heights Mules vs. Boerne-Champion Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            Alamo Heights lost against Boerne-Champion back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Mules fell just short of the Chargers by a score of  3-2. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Alamo Heights couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Boerne-Champion a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 25-21, 31-33,  15-9.

 Alamo Heights'  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Leah Espinoza, who  had 18  digs and six  assists, and  Charlie Voss, who  had 19  kills and 11  digs. Voss has been hot for a while, having  posted five or more  kills the last 15 times she's  played.
Alamo Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 15-19. As for Boerne-Champion, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Coincidentally, Alamo Heights and Boerne-Champion will both be playing Boerne the next time they take the court. The Chargers will head out to face the Greyhounds at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Mules will  host them  at 5:15  p.m.  on Friday.
