Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Red Oak's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Red Oak saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pine Tree Pirates.

Red Oak found their leader in freshman Maleah Ellis, who had eight assists and six digs.

Red Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Pine Tree, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Oak will welcome Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Tree, they will host Elysian Fields at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
