Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was the 68-6 winner over Rossford when they last played one another back in February of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Rogers Rams took a 42-27 bruising from the Rossford Bulldogs on Thursday. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 13-3 in the first quarter.

Rogers now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Rossford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rogers will be home for the holidays to greet Bowsher at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rossford, they will welcome Oak Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Harbor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
