Volleyball Recap: Coatesville Comes Up Short

Coatesville lost against Oxford back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Raiders came up short against the Hornets, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-12.

Oxford's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fionna Reynolds, who had six digs and two aces.

Coatesville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Oxford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

Coatesville has already played their next matchup (against Conestoga Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oxford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Octorara Area on the 3rd.
