Football Game Preview: Colts Neck Cougars vs. Manasquan Warriors

The Colts Neck Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Manasquan Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Colts Neck's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Ocean Township on Saturday. They lost 22-0 to the Spartans. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last matchup, Manasquan made sure to put some points up on the board against Brick Township on Friday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Green Dragons with a sharp 34-14 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four contests in a row.

Colts Neck better keep an eye on Ace Etienne. He was instrumental in Manasquan's win, rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Etienne has posted since back in September of 2024.

Colts Neck's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Manasquan, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Colts Neck was dealt a bruising 40-6 loss at the hands of Manasquan when the teams last played back in October of 2018. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
