Baseball Recap: Saltillo Comes Up Short

Saltillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the North Hopkins Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 on Tuesday.

Saltillo's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Hopkins, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Saltillo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Campbell on the 24th. As for North Hopkins, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-6 victory against Wolfe City on the 24th.
