Football Recap: Central Columbia Comes Up Short

Central Columbia fell victim to Warrior Run and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Defenders 56-0. The loss leaves the Bluejays still looking for their first win of the season.

Central Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Warrior Run, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Columbia will challenge rival Bloomsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Warrior Run is set to square off against their familiar foe Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Denyn Beachel and Montgomery Fisher.
