Centennial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Walton, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Walton is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Centennial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Putnam, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-16.

While Centennial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
