Softball Recap: Thunderbird Takes a Loss

Thunderbird was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Paradise Honors Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 last Tuesday.

Thunderbird saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Hodge, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Hodge's first of the season.

Thunderbird's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Paradise Honors, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thunderbird will head out to challenge Greenway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paradise Honors, they will venture away from home to take on Estrella Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
