Softball Recap: Doddridge County Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Pendleton County

Doddridge County faced Pendleton County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wildcat by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Doddridge County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hadley Ross, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.
