Recap: Amesbury Redhawks vs. Newburyport Clippers

The Amesbury Redhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Newburyport, falling 61-29. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Amesbury in their matchups with Newburyport: they've now lost four in a row.

Several Redhawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ellison Talbot, who scored eight points. Celia Tavares was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Amesbury's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Newburyport, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
