Soccer Game Preview: Milpitas vs. Pioneer

Milpitas barely beat Santa Teresa the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans' defense stepped up to hand the Saints a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Milpitas in their matchups with Santa Teresa: they've now won four in a row.

Milpitas hit Santa Teresa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryan Saxelby, Ivan Santillan Yepez, and Toma Iwase.

Meanwhile, Pioneer and Palo Alto finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Friday.

Pioneer's draw makes their record 0-2-2 this season. As for Milpitas, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
