Basketball Recap: Milbank Comes Up Short

After flying high against Deuel last Thursday, Milbank came back down to earth. The Milbank Bulldogs were dealt a 67-37 defeat at the hands of the Wagner Red Raiders on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since December 19, 2024.

Milbank's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Wagner, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milbank will host Hamlin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hamlin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Wagner, they will welcome Hanson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagner has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
