Softball Recap: Woodstock North Comes Up Short

Woodstock North fell victim to Sycamore and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Thunder in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Woodstock North now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sycamore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Woodstock North will look to defend their home field on Monday against Johnsburg at 4:30 p.m. As for Sycamore, they will head out to face off against Rochelle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans are facing the Hubs at the right time seeing as the Hubs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
