Softball Game Preview: Southern Huntingdon County Rockets vs. Everett Warriors

The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets will challenge the Everett Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Southern Huntingdon County is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Southern Huntingdon County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Williamsburg get on the board and left with a 23-0 win on Friday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Everett won against Meyersdale on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out Southern Fulton 10-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Southern Huntingdon County pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Everett, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Everything went Southern Huntingdon County's way against Everett in their previous meeting back in March, as Southern Huntingdon County made off with a 14-0 win. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
