Baseball Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Palm Beach Gardens and Forest Hill squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Palm Beach Gardens had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 5-4. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 10-9.

Palm Beach Gardens saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Petsch, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Palm Beach Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Forest Hill, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-12 record.

Palm Beach Gardens does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forest Hill, they are taking a road trip to challenge Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
