Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest North Preparatory's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Pinecrest North Preparatory was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brito on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Pinecrest North Preparatory fell 3-1 to the Somerset College Prepartory Academy South Patriots on Thursday. The loss put an end to Pinecrest North Preparatory's undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 26-28, 25-22.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pinecrest North Preparatory fell to 2-1. As for Somerset College Prepartory Academy South, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinecrest North Preparatory will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on BridgePrep Village Green at 4:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Somerset College Prepartory Academy South, they will take on Pinecrest Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
