Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Animo Leadership). They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Animo City of Champions Wildcats on Tuesday. Considering the Aztec Eagles have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Animo Leadership has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those ten games. As for Animo City of Champions, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-4-1.

Coincidentally, Animo Leadership and Animo City of Champions will both be playing Compton Early College the next time they take the pitch. Animo Leadership will host Compton Early College at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Animo City of Champions will host them at 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
