Volleyball Recap: York Comes Up Short

York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tabb Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 13-25, 25-10.

Tabb can attribute much of their success to Faye Realina, who had four digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Realina a new career-high.

York's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Tabb, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. York will take on rival Smithfield at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Tabb is set to challenge their familiar foe Grafton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
