Meanwhile, after soaring to 63 points the game before, Huntington was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Diboll, falling 48-22. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Woodville's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-10. As for Huntington, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-15.
