Baseball Recap: Palmetto Comes Up Short

Palmetto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Westside Rams.

Palmetto's record now sits at 1-10. As for Westside, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto will welcome Ware Shoals at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Westside, they will host Palmetto at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
