Recap: Brandeis Broncos vs. Reagan Rattlers
The Brandeis Broncos lost against the Reagan Rattlers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Brandeis was beaten by Reagan 39-7. Brandeis has not had much luck with Reagan recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Reagan can attribute much of their success to Brad Jackson, who threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 90 yards on only eight carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Cappuccio, who picked up 108 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Reagan, adding 13 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Jonathon Leos: he added nine points with three field goals, and another four kicking extra points.
Brandeis now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Reagan, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Brandeis will head out on the road to face off against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Steele will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Reagan will take on East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
