Basketball Recap: Alice Comes Up Short

Alice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Miller Buccaneers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-42 last Saturday.

Alice's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Miller, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Alice will be playing at home against Ray at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ray knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Alice likes a good challenge. As for Miller, they will head out on the road to take on Flour Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
