Volleyball Recap: Scottsburg Comes Up Short

Scottsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southridge Raiders.

When it comes to explaining why Scottsburg lost, don't look at Sophie Gricius. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and one assist. Gricius is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Scottsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Southridge, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
