Football Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Minisink Valley Warriors, falling 49-6. The Presidents were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Said Kakish threw for 70 yards and one TD. Chris Cash was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Minisink Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will face off against Wallkill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minisink Valley, they will challenge Warwick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
