Recap: Foothill Trojans vs. Arvin Bears
The Foothill Trojans can finally bid farewell to their 38-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over Arvin. Foothill's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Diego Cabrera continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Fernando Sarabia, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Foothill's win ended a 15-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-14. As for Arvin, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Foothill will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Golden Valley at 6:30 p.m. Arvin on the road again on Thursday and play against Desert Christian at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th. Desert Christian is out to stop a ten-game streak of losses at home.
