Football Recap: Allen Eagles vs. Midland Legacy Rebels
Allen gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed by the Midland Legacy Rebels at home to the tune of 61-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Brady Bricker went supernova for Allen, throwing for 272 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Jaden Hambric was another key player, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Allen was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 532 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Midland Legacy only gained 250.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allen will face off against Cedar Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midland Legacy, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
