Basketball Recap: Syracuse Comes Up Short

After flying high against Johnson County Central on Tuesday, Syracuse came back down to earth. The Rockets took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays on Thursday. The Rockets have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Syracuse nor the Bluejays have any future games scheduled.
