Football Recap: Pallotti Piles Up the Points Against St. John's Catholic Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pallotti). They blew past the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings 50-12 on Friday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Vikings are ranked 161st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braxton Brady was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 192 yards and four scores on only 12 carries, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and one TD. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Brady was just one part of a punishing run game: Pallotti was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 294 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Pallotti is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.8 points over those games. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.
