Basketball Game Preview: Ashville Bulldogs vs. Glencoe Yellowjackets

The Ashville Bulldogs will challenge the Glencoe Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Ashville had to suffer through a 63-32 loss at the hands of Springville. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Tigers are ranked 115th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Glencoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Westbrook Christian 59-34 on Friday. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Ashville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Glencoe, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.
