Northeastern faced Palmyra in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on six straight.

Northeastern was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-10.

Hugh Rogers paced Northeastern's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rogers got some help from Jacob Zambito and his 39 assists. Finally, Dylan Zimmerman kept Northeastern's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Northeastern's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-10-8. As for Palmyra, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Northeastern will head out to take on Cumberland Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmyra, they will host Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
