Volleyball Recap: Timpview Comes Up Short

Timpview lost to Wasatch back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Wasps, falling 3-0. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-14.

Vandar VanDyke paced Timpview's offense, picking up six kills. VanDyke got some help from Bowie Asvitt and his seven assists.

Timpview now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Wasatch, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Timpview has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Juab on the 25th. As for Wasatch, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m.
