Baseball Recap: Foreman Comes Up Short

Foreman and Junction City squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Foreman had to settle for second. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 7-0. The Gator Arkansas just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Foreman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dayson Dawson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Foreman's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Junction City, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10-1 record this season.

Foreman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Junction City, they will square off against Parkers Chapel at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
