The Narragansett Mariners will head out to take on the Rogers Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Narragansett's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Rogers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Monday, Narragansett needed a bit of extra time to put away Middletown. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Islanders. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mariners as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Riley Cronin was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Sam Simoes also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Johnston. Darren Carter was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Kieran Moore was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Narragansett, their record now sits at 7-8.
