North Posey's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Southridge Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jed Galvin was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Lane Young also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

North Posey has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Southridge, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Posey will welcome Evansville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southridge, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Evansville Reitz at 12:00 p.m.
