Basketball Recap: Medfield Comes Up Short

Medfield was the 71-59 winner over Norton when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Medfield Warriors fell to the Norton Lancers 59-53.

Medfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Medfield will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Dover-Sherborn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Medfield will stroll in with a eight game home winning streak (dating back to last season), but they should still watch out: the last time they lost at home was their the 27th matchup with Dover-Sherborn. As for Norton, they will venture away from home to face off against Millis at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
