Softball Recap: T.C. Roberson Takes a Loss

T.C. Roberson came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Madison Patriots by a score of 10-8 on Monday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 11-7.

T.C. Roberson's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10. As for Madison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. T.C. Roberson will square off against Erwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Madison, they will take on A.C. Reynolds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
