Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Shelby, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10.

Looking ahead, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Lincolnton at 6:00 p.m. The Gryphons are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Shelby, they will welcome Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
